Uncertain Times. Germany, Europe and the World Order

The ANU Centre for European Studies (ANUCES) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) are delighted to invite you to the second Konrad Adenauer Lecture, to be presented by Professor Sir Christopher Clark, Regius Professor in History at the University of Cambridge, and featuring The Hon. Dr Brendan Nelson as discussant.

Entitled ‘Uncertain Times. Germany, Europe and the World Order’, the lecture will reflect on the distinctive features of the era that began in 1989/90, the reemergence of authentic global multipolarity, the impact of the global financial crisis on Europe, and the decline of the narratives that used to help western states plot their course in history.

There will be time for audience Q&A after the lecture, followed by a cocktail reception.
